I like Dell's Small Business service. You should enjoy no trouble ordering through Small Business. My experience is Canadian however, not UK.
Dell is the real worst company ever! i have have a dell for 1 year, and its problem after proble. Go with HP or Compaq.
Sony but they are pricey. try a Compaq.
Toshiba make good laptops.
