I will be buying a Laptop within another 10 days or so. My requirements are:
Intel Core2 Duo (1.7 GHz) Processor
1 GB DDR2 SDRAM
15.4 TFT Screen
256MB Dedicated Video Memory
Wi-Fi Enabled
Windows XP Home / Pro SP2
Which one should I go for? My budget is around 55,000 INR.
Answer:
IBM
IBM
Try HP,DELL
HP ones are suitable. Alot of businesses use them and they are very reliable. The big three are HP, DELL and IBM but I reckon the HP ones look nicer.
Hp is the best in this budget.
I love my HP and they are as expected priced. Another thing to consider is a blue tooth adapter. You can achieve a T-Mobile plan (and I'm sure others) that will let you connect to the internet using your cell phone as the modem. It's really convenient.
I personally bought one near a 17 monitor, but if I did it over I think I'd stick beside 15. Mine is a little too big to use on the plane.
Toshiba rocks!!!
though you dont capture great toshiba config's in india, if you own some contact in US who is coming to india. ask him to purchase a toshiba laptop for you. your config will if truth be told cost around 900usd in toshiba.
