go beside a sony. you'll pay more but i've have nothing but problems next to dell.
If you are a hardcore gamer, Alienware laptops are the top of the market. They cost a fortune though. The graphics look fantastic on it for playing games so fluently movies would look excellent too.

I love my Sony! I would recommend it over Dell any day for anything. I would recommend building your computer from chisel. My brother built his working with Sony and he watches tons of movies and plays plentifully of online games. Remember though if you are playing online games you not only want a good computer but a honourable internet connection.
