As the charts show, sometimes the AMD 3000+ beats the Intel cpus you enjoy listed, 3500+ the fastest of the three.
My vote is for the Athlon 64. AMD processes info within bigger bites than an Intel does. The A64 3500 is your fastest processor.
GO for the AMD, my next choice would be the Intel Pentium D because they do not clear pentium 4 any more. They are all powerfull processors, but my opick is the AMD
