I have need of to buy a lock for my laptop, but I cant figure out if it have a security lock slot or not and where on earth it is or what they look like. Nothing online really shows the slots too okay. I have a slot on the right side of the computer that looks resembling a small rectangle with tiny indent contained by the bottom and has a 1394 below it. I also enjoy an upright rectangle on the gone side of the computer next to the DVD drive that simply looks like it have a peice of metal behind it. Are any of these a lock slot? Can anyone that is acquainted with laptops or Dells bring up to date me if this is a lock slot, or what it looks like?
Answer: It looks approaching the slot is about 2/3 of the means of access back on the moved out side of the laptop.

On the right side of the page are little pictures of the laptop from different angles. Select the right-most picture surrounded by the top row (Left View). The image that comes up should hold 2 light-blue dots on it. Hold your mouse over the left one and a box pops-up that say Security Cable Slot.
